1.  Introduction



These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this website and the purchase of products from TUFC. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.


Products are sold subject to availability. TUFC reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order where necessary.


Prices are subject to change without notice.


2. Profuct Information 



We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. However, we cannot guarantee that colours displayed on your screen will exactly match the actual product due to variations in display settings.


All dimensions and specifications are approximate and may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances, materials, or production processes.


TUFC reserves the right to update or correct product information at any time without notice.


Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions are suitable for their space before ordering.

3. Manufacturers Guarantee 

All products come with a 6 month manufacturers guarantee. This covers manufacturing faults or defects.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover non-manufacturing issues such as accidental damage, improper

use, excessive heavy use, or normal wear and tear.

If you experience any issues that you believe are due to a manufacturing fault within the 6 month period, please

contact us and we’ll be happy to assist with the process.

For extra peace of mind, we would always recommend taking out a separate furniture protection or warranty plan

that can cover additional situations such as accidental damage, stains, or spills. Some companies that offer

furniture protection plans include Guardsman and Castelan.


4. Shipping & Delivery

We aim to provide a smooth and reliable delivery service. Please read the following information carefully before placing your order.

1. Local Delivery – Bespoke & Made-to-Order Items

Bespoke and made-to-order furniture is delivered within 90 miles of our store location.

Delivery Charge: £120

Minimum Order Value: £250

Estimated Delivery Time: 3–4 weeks

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the stated timeframe.

Once your order is ready, we will contact you directly to arrange a suitable delivery date.

2. UK Mainland Delivery – on In-Stock & Standard Items

 

For non-bespoke items that are in stock, we offer delivery across UK mainland

England

Wales

 Scotland

Estimated delivery timeframe: 3–14 working days.

Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, courier schedules, and location. While we aim to meet estimated timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

We do not currently deliver to:

Northern Ireland

Offshore islands

Highlands and remote areas (additional charges may apply where delivery is possible)

3. Delivery Conditions

Customers must:

Provide accurate and complete delivery details contact information at checkout.

Ensure someone over the age of 18 is present to accept delivery.

Ensure safe and suitable access to the delivery address, including adequate space through doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts, and tight turns.


We are not responsible for:

Delays or additional costs caused by incorrect address details.

Failed deliveries due to access restrictions.

Additional charges incurred if redelivery is required.

If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues or unsafe conditions, additional charges may apply. Refunds will not be provided where delivery fails due to access restrictions outside of our control.

4. Risk & Responsibility

Risk in the goods passes to you once delivery has been completed at the agreed address.

You must inspect the goods upon delivery and notify the driver upon delivery and email/contact us direct of any visible damage or missing items.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Delays Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Severe weather

Supply chain disruption

Courier delays

Road closures or transport issues


5.  Returns Policy


At TUFC Furniture And Home, we aim to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities when purchasing from us online, in accordance with UK consumer law.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Online Orders)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

 


  • The 14-day cancellation period begins the day after you (or someone you nominate) receives the item.
  • You must notify us in writing (email is acceptable) within this 14-day period if you wish to cancel.
  • Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

2. Return Costs

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items.


  • Items must be returned at your own expense.
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as items remain your responsibility until received by us.
  • Delivery charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable unless required by law.

3. Condition of Returned Goods

Returned items must:


  • Be unused and in resaleable condition
  • Be returned in their original packaging where possible
  • Not show signs of use, assembly damage, or wear beyond what is necessary to inspect the item


We reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction from your refund if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and function.


4. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Items (Non-Returnable)

 

 

We do not accept cancellations or returns for:

 


  • Bespoke or made-to-order furniture
  • Sofas made to your chosen fabric, colour, size, or configuration
  • Any item customised specifically to your requirements


These items are exempt from the 14-day cancellation period under UK consumer law.

5. Refunds

 

 

 

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

 


  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the goods (or receiving proof of return).
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
  • We may withhold a refund until the goods are returned or proof of postage is provided.

6. Faulty or Damaged Items


Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be:

 


  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described:

 


  • You must notify us as soon as possible with photographic evidence.
  • If a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
  • We will cover the reasonable cost of return for confirmed faulty items.



If a fault develops within the first 30 days, you may be entitled to reject the goods for a full refund. After this period, we may offer a repair or replacement in line with UK law.

Used / Clearance Items

All used or clearance items are sold as seen. No refunds, returns, or exchanges are offered.

 

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Follow reasonable care and maintenance practices
  • Use the furniture in a normal domestic environment
  • Inspect items on delivery and report issues to  driver promptly 

 


6. Intellectual Property 



All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and designs, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.


You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.


7. limitation of liability 



We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of equipment, or delays in transportation.


8. Governing  Law



These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.


Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


9. Changes To Terms



We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.


Your continued use of our website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
